After the rest of the EliteDre@mte@mers chickened out for varied reasons (flu, new baby, saving Gotham City…) we had to bring in Skooks as our last minute guest, who first appeared in episode #10. We talk about his much-discussed trade of Jake King for Jordan Lewis off the bat, then get into the round review.
For round 19, we chew over the performances of Josh Fraser, Adam Pattison, Troy Simmonds, Brett Deledio, Luke Power, Chance Bateman, Heath Scotland, Chad Cornes, Danyle Pearce, Andrew McDougall, Travis Johnstone, Sam Gilbert, Tadhg Kennelly, Matt Rosa, Matt Priddis, Eddie Sansbury, Ivan Maric, Jonathon Griffin, Scott Gumbleton, Matthew Pavlich, Daniel Gilmore and Andrew Embley.
There is no Boys on the Bubble segment this week as it’s too late in the season, though m0nty names Scott Gumbleton as the Bubble Boy of the Week anyway. Then in Crack the Ton (which Molly won last week 7-5) we make our selections as to whether we think the following captain prospects will score 100 Dream Team points this week:
Matthew Pavlich: m0nty said no, Molly said no, Skooks said no
Matt Rosa: m0nty said no, Molly said no, Skooks said yes.
Nigel Lappin: m0nty said yes, Molly said no, Skooks said no.
Scott Lucas: m0nty said yes, Molly said yes, Skooks said yes.
Daniel Cross: m0nty said no, Molly said yes, Skooks said no.
Andrew Carrazzo: m0nty said yes, Molly said yes, Skooks said yes.
Gary Ablett jnr: m0nty said no, Molly said yes, Skooks said no.
Adam McPhee: m0nty said yes, Molly said no, Skooks said no.
Chad Cornes: m0nty said yes, Molly said yes, Skooks said yes.
There is plenty to talk about regarding fantasy footy scandals this week, and we get stuck in to the lenny hayes=god hacking incident, as well as revelations about the fiddling of Super Coach scores. Finally, we take up an old EDT argument about whether it showed skill to pick Joel Corey at the start of 2007 or just dumb luck… and Skooks gets accused of a bit of luck himself with the King pick!
As promised, here is episode #9 of the DT Talk video podcast, which includes the now-infamous call to Adelaide FC where Warnie talks to Rhett Biglands’ mum:

Phillip "Molly" Malone is one of the most prolific Web pundits on Aussie Rules footy with his blog Mollyzine and podcast Molly's Monday Machination. He's an engineer and a Hawk fan, and you'll see his name everywhere.
