We have no guest today. Judge for yourself about how that affects the quality of the show! We start off with the news that lenny hayes=god did, in fact, get his stolen trade back. Then, it’s onto the round review. We talk about James McDonald, Paul Medhurst, Andrew Walker, Lance Whitnall, Scott Lucas, Adam McPhee, Patrick Ryder, Kyle Reimers, Scott Gumbleton, Brett Peake, Jason Blake, Ed Barlow, Jed Adcock, Nathan G. Brown, Quinten Lynch, Justin Westhoff, Ben McGlynn, Steve Johnson, Hamish McIntosh, Daniel Giansiracusa, John Meesen and Ben Hudson.
In Crack the Ton, we had a special edition for Joel Corey who has five consecutive 120+ scores, something only done before by Nathan Buckley. On the question of whether Corey will get yet another 120: m0nty said yes, Molly said no. On the rest of the players, whom we were only predicting flat tons, we went the same way each time.
Matt Priddis: we said no.
Lindsay Gilbee: we said yes.
Joel Bowden: we said yes.
Nick Dal Santo: we said yes.
Luke Hodge: we said yes.
Tarkyn Lockyer: we said no.
Nigel Lappin: we said no.
Barry Hall: we said no.
Finally, we talk a bit about the issues around running fantasy leagues with significant cash payments involved, as in this BigFooty thread. We also talk about the development of new fantasy football products for the future, particularly for the casual player. Molly comes up with some ideas about getting fantasy footy into pubs, and m0nty mulls over how to get post offices involved a la TipStar. We also talk about how crucial it is for Fairfax to get a comp going for The Age next year.
