#24: NAB Cup QFs 2008 with Harro
This week we’re joined by Harro of Football Salvation, a new fantasy AFL Web site where you can read detailed fantasy-flavoured profiles of every AFL-listed player.
Four games in the NAB Cup to cover this week: Daniel Cross, Josh Hill, Ben Hudson, Peter Street, Ricky Dyson, Leroy Jetta, Bachar Houli, Jobe Watson, Angus Monfries, Sam Lonergan, David Myers, David Armitage, Tom Hawkins, Harry Taylor, Nick Stevens, Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs, Chris Judd, Michael Jamison, Zac Dawson, Andrew McLeod, Jason Porplyzia, Dean Solomon, Des Headland, Roger Hayden, Michael Johnson, David Mundy and Rhys Palmer are all discussed.
Outside of the televised stuff we talk about Mitchell Brown’s season-ending knee injury, and speculate as to his replacement from the shortlist of Adam Hunter, Jaymie Graham and Matthew Spangher. We also discuss the Swans’ voodoo magic which is allegedly going to resurrect Nick Malceski’s 2008 as early as round 9, and mention Albert Proud’s DT ton in a NAB Challenge game.
We find out that Harro is a Kangaroos supporter and proceed to grill him about Levi Greenwood, Nathan Thompson, Aaron Edwards, Lachie Hansen, Shannon Grant and Daniel Wells. Then we give Harro the chance to spruik Football Salvation for a while.
Finally, Molly tries a new segment we’re calling Two Up, where he asks us to choose between two players for the 2008 fantasy AFL season.

Great work guys, but its almost impossible to understand what Harro is saying. He’s constantly breaking up.

Hey guys. Some more good content, but more audio issues which is again quite frustrating (and must be frustrating for you guys, too)! But sounds like you guys are working on the audio side of things, which is probably holding you back from being a true top quality Podcast.
Cheers, Luke.

Thanks for the response. We love getting these great guests on but sometimes there equipment is lacking. Best thing is if the callers all have headsets but as the guests are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, we can’t afford to provide that for them.
We will work on it and hopefully have it improve. We are also considering a live call in show or a way you can listen and ask questions. What do you think?
