#25: NAB Cup SFs 2008 live on Talkshoe!
This week we had no guest, but we tried out the live podcasting feature on Talkshoe. The results weren’t too bad. Maybe next week we will figure out how to do live talkback!
There were two games in the NAB Cup this week and plenty of players to discuss: Jason Laycock, David Hille, Steven King, Michael Gardiner, Angus Monfries, David Armitage, Clinton Jones, Nick Riewoldt, Charlie Gardiner, Luke Ball, Brad Symes, Jason Porplyzia, Kurt Tippett, James Sellar, Brent Guerra, Grant Birchall, Xavier Ellis, Cyril Rioli, Jarryd Morton, Tim Clarke, Lance Franklin and Stuart Dew all got a mention.
We also went through the Fantasy Freako e-newsletter (hosted by our friends over at DT Talk) with Dream Team scores from this week’s NAB Challenge games, and identified a fair few interesting scores: Jonathan Brown, Adam Hartlett, Lachie Hansen, Josh Hill, Gavin Urquhart, Cameron Wood, Shaun Rusling, Daniel Gilmore, Shane Valenti, Matthew Bate, Shaun Burgoyne, Brendon Lade, Kayne Pettifer, Nick Stevens, Barry Hall, Jessie White, Jamie McNamara, Scott Selwood, Matthew Spangher, Jaymie Graham, Matt Priddis, Mark Nicoski, Brad Ebert, Ben Hudson and Peter Street were all discussed.
Finally, we talked a bit about the ever-competitive league scene, with BigFooty setting up a huge league structure this week.

I’ll have a better listen to your show over the long weekend, but unfortunately it wasn’t sounding all that promising early on. I then skipped forward 30 minutes or so, and it still sounded very scratchy. As I said, I’ll try to listen to the full show on the weekend. Thanks for your efforts. Cheers, Luke.

Hey guys,
Great show. Just a few comments
- As the other comments mentioned, a bit choppy/feedback
- Thought you guys agreed a bit too much on everything, with Monty giving his opinion, followed by Molly agreeing. Maybe try switching who starts the commentary for each game.
- Maybe a few focused segments, and a bit quicker on each game. e.g. best rookie/premium/roughie of the nab cup. most disappointing, etc
Anyhow just a few ideas, but generally really good. Keep up the good work.

Molly and Monty talking Hawks Dream Team is my favourite podcast. lol. Just kidding. Keep up the good work lads.
Just for reference sake Monty; Re: Esp #24 (I think) - Greg Williams may have lacked penetration but he was exquisite by foot. He was just better by hand.
