Hi Monty and Molly,

My name's Melinda James and I host a radio show on ABC radio in the Northern Territory called Hair of the Blog. It's also streamed and posted online. I was wondering if either of you would be interested in doing an interview with me late on Sunday morning (or a prerecord if that's not a good time) about trade week. My fella and I are big fans of your site and I thought you'd be perfect to help me run through the trades and their implications on the radio. We're an hour and a half behind you here in the NT. I'd probably want to talk to you between 11:30 and 12 your time. Let me know by sending me an email or you can give me a call on 0402 332 534. I hope you get this.

@ Chad, Medhurst needs to make certain he doesn't lose his spot. Dick, Barham, Beams & Sidebottom will all get more games next year, through in another draft pick and I'm sure that Medhurst will have a fight on his hands.

Great show guys (and a great year).

Something massively wrong down at Alberton. The great thing about Kornes is you know what you get 22 weeks. Surprised to see his name on the trade list.

Fan Planner, Love it monty, great work as always thanks for that. On DT I like that it is harder next year (MN increased more than salary cap).

Salopek has played majority of the time at half back (so has hartlett) so hopefully they are CTR/BAC to give an option. Salo could average 100 next year, but he is so injury prone.

I mentioned on BF, but with goddard, bowden and lockyer possibly not backs and retired, the top 7 backs could average 87 to 93.

Hodge would be popular because he is only priced at 83. Certain value, and what makes him better value is the loss of bowden/goddard/lockyer.

Enright is a surprise, has been great and very consistent, didn't think there is upside there (fully priced). You can't see value in Carazzo Monty? averaged 100 and 93 in 07 and 08, priced at 85.

I agree with you monty on Hille, not sure he will get back to that high scoring. I think he will share the ruck a little more with Ryder and hurt his scoring. Having said that, Hille could still be value. Rob Warnock is an interesting one. What does Warnock rucking mean for Kruzer?

Surprised Medhurst isn't more popular. Priced at 65 certainly capable of an 85-90 average (needs a pre season obviously).

Couple of players I would like your thoughts on guys.

Will Cyril setup up DT wise? classy player, but not quite a premium option yet. Averaged 76 this year, can he improve to 85 to 90?

Hurley, averaged 69. With so many backs going missing, do you think Hurley could average 80 (which would make him a keeper). Averaged 85 in his last 3.
