Hehe. Yes Graham, good advice! I think at one point talking about a ruckman, I nearly dozed off (and it wasn’t because Monty was boring). I think I need to make sure to have Pepsi Max on hand!

Hey MOnty talking SC here…..
Not much has been said about Gilbee, do you think he will go better than Gram or Macdonald for around the same price?
This is what i’m thinkning…..
Gilbee has aved 118, 106, 108, 98 and 85 from 05-09 and hardly missed a game either.
He ticks all the boxes. Do you think his form drop was due to positional change and the passing of his old man last year? Given that he will be back play mostly off HBF this year do you think he will get back to his 100 point ave or at least improve?
His NAB numbers were not great but how much do you take from NAB games?
Oh and great work on the site and podcast its great stuff.

Just on the 200k defenders, i think there is one that for some reason i haven’t seen mentioned anywhere at all. Yes i am port bias and he is a port boy but, 200k defender, no injury concerns, played all 4 nab games a lock in the 22 and his lowest score was 54 (in the shortened games).

Hitchcock compared to wade thompson, have you seen any of hitchcocks game monty? thompson was about getting forward pressure, but he didn’t have the skills required. Hitchcock is very much a goal scorer.
